WITIN joined key stakeholders at the 22nd Meeting of the National Council on Innovation, Science and Technology (NCIST) held from Monday, 12th to Wednesday, 14th May 2025 at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Abuja.
Organized by the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (FMIST), this pivotal gathering brought together policy makers, researchers, professionals, and development partners to deliberate on the theme:
“Research, Develop, Innovate and Commercialize: A Cycle for National Prosperity.”
The three-day meeting featured technical sessions, cultural presentations, memoranda from ministries and stakeholders, and a high-level summit session graced by dignitaries including the Honourable Minister, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, and Prof. A.P. Onwualu, President of the African University of Science and Technology, who delivered the keynote paper.
WITIN’s participation emphasized the critical role of gender-inclusive innovation in national development.
