ABOUT

Women and Girls PRIDE(Pivoting Resilience in the Digital Economy) Africa is an initiative dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger by bridging the digital divide for vulnerable and marginalized women and girls in rural and underserved communities in Africa. Our programs empower participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the digital age, opening pathways to economic self-sufficiency and enhanced quality of life.

Programs
FOR THE WOMEN
1. Digital Skills Training: This comprehensive program focuses on foundational competencies:
– Basic Digital Literacy: Introduces participants to internet usage, search engines, and secure online practices.
– Digital Financial Literacy: Provides training in online banking, budgeting, Book keeping, safe transactions, and identifying entrepreneurial opportunities through digital platforms.-Entrepreneurship
2. Elementary Digital Marketing: Designed to help women sell their produce effectively online, promoting rural to urban partnerships.
Methodology: Our programs combine interactive demonstrations, hands-on practice, visual aids, role-playing, and real-world scenarios to maximize learning and retention.

FOR THE GIRLS
-Digital Literacy and Safety: Equips girls with crucial skills to navigate the online world safely and effectively.
-Computational Thinking and Simple Robotics: Introduces fundamental coding concepts and robotics, fostering problem-solving skills and sparking interest in STEM fields.- Career and leadership talks

By end of 2030, this initiative would have economically empowered 100,000  Women and Girls in Nigeria and Africa at large.
