Abuja, Nigeria – WITIN’s Program Assistant in Abuja recently represented the organization at a key meeting focused on strengthening digital economy collaboration between Nigeria and South Africa.
The meeting was a Digital Economy Sector Subgroup session, part of the preparatory activities for the Nigeria-South Africa Joint Ministerial Advisory Committee on Industry, Trade, and Investment (JMACITI). This initiative stems from the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC), where the digital economy was identified as a priority sector for cooperation.
WITIN’s participation underscores the organization’s commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s digital economy growth and ensuring women’s voices are included in these important discussions.
