COHORT 3,4,5,6.
WITIN and UPTH with support from The International Network for Advancing Science and Policy (INASP) and AuthorAID UK are hosting a 4-day physical Data Science Workshop in Lagos and Port Harcourt as well as a 4-day virtual workshop for selected cohorts(4) of Early Career Researchers (ECRs). An ECR is generally considered as someone within eight years of the award of the Ph.D. Those enrolled in a Masters’ degree program can also apply . The Workshop is tagged “Introduction to Data Science using R Statistical Software” will hold in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Virtually.

COHORT 2
An intensive and immersive workshop starting on 7th of October 2022 and spread over two weeks; followed by an additional but optional 4-week window for project; requires in-person attendance for 2 days at WITIN’s Office in Isolo, Lagos State . Participants would carry out optional projects between week 3-6. Certificates would also be issued to participants not carrying out projects.

Interested participants would be invited to join our Journal and Writing Club and would be required to publish a paper as part of the output of this workshop. It is optional.
