Today, April 24, 2025, as the world celebrates International Girls in ICT Day, WITIN proudly opens the States & Regional Exhibitions of our 2025 National STEM Competition & Exhibitions for Girls under the theme:
🎯 “Innovate for Impact: STEM Solutions for a Sustainable Future.”
This year’s celebration is more than symbolic—it marks the beginning of a nationwide transformation. We have already received 228 entries from 25 states spanning all 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
This week also, over 250 teachers from secondary schools across Nigeria are undergoing intensive training to mentor girls in developing innovative STEM projects. These educators—empowered through our growing WITIN Girls STEM Clubs—are set to directly impact 125,000 girls over the next two years, with a far-reaching ripple effect in communities nationwide.
